Lawrence W. "Law" Loving

Law is Director of Career & Workforce Readiness at the Niswonger Foundation. In his current role he leads the Work Ethic Distinction initiative that serves over 150 high schools across Tennessee. He also guides the CareerConnect program, which ensures tenth through twelfth grade students at 23 high schools across Northeast Tennessee have opportunities to explore careers and develop their soft skills. Additionally, Law serves as Workforce Coordinator on STEM.LD, a five-year research grant awarded by the US Department of Education, and assists with project development and acquisition at the Foundation.

Prior to working at the Niswonger Foundation, Law worked for Smarty Pants as a quantitative market researcher. He also has experience teaching as an adjunct faculty member at East Tennessee State University.  He attended Tulane University for his bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Economics and earned an MBA at East Tennessee State University. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in Human Resources and Workforce Development at the University of Arkansas.

Originally from Johnson City, Law now lives in Greeneville with his wife, Megan, and two children, Wren and Evora, with a third child expected in April 2025. He is an active community member and volunteers with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America, serves as an elder of the Greeneville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and sits on the board of the Azark Foundation. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves traveling to national parks and foreign countries whenever the opportunity arises.His passion for education and community development aligns closely with the mission of the Lancer Capital Group Foundation.
