The Lancer Capital Group Foundation JROTC Scholarship was established to honor and support high-achieving cadets who exemplify leadership, service, and academic excellence. Open to cadets in JROTC programs in Greeneville and the surrounding areas, this scholarship recognizes individuals who have made meaningful contributions to their unit, school, and community while demonstrating a strong commitment to personal growth and future success. Awarded annually, the scholarship is designed to help exceptional cadets pursue higher education and continue making a positive impact in the world. Applicants are evaluated on their academic achievements, leadership skills, community involvement, and their dedication to the values of JROTC.
The Scholarship's Three Pillars are:
Currently open to cadets enrolled in JROTC at Greeneville High School with plans to grow into other area high schools in the future. Applicants should demonstrate leadership, service, and academic excellence while actively contributing to their unit and community.
The scholarship begins at $1,200 and may increase based on the amount of donations given throughout the year. This award helps exceptional cadets pursue their higher education goals and make a lasting impact.
Students are required to submit a completed application packet by February 28, 2025. Finalists will interview with our selection committee in March to share their achievements and vision for their future.
Applicants are evaluated on academic performance, JROTC leadership, community service, and a passion for positive impact. Demonstrating alignment with the Foundation’s core values is key to success.
